 Gillette 1956 Red Tip Super Speed DE Safety Razor (B-1)  Overall, the razor is in relatively nice condition, considering its age. The handle shows some plating loss and wear, but remains attractive. The head shows some plating loss and wear, but maintains some luster. There are some small spots of discoloration on the head (beginning of corrosion). The Gillette Red Tip super speed was manufactured between 1955 and 1960.  It is a TTO (twist to open) double edged model.  At least partly attributed to its relatively heavier weight, it was known for its aggressive shave.  The handle is wider than other super speeds and uses knurling to improve the grip.
